Before founding his own global consulting practice in 2001, Dr. Hirt worked for HSBC Investment Bank in London and Boston Consulting Group, a global partner-led management consulting firm, where he received several awards for outstanding client service.
Dr. Hirt graduated from Harvard Business School (LPSF - Leading Professional Service Firms), earned a doctorate in law "with distinction" from the University of Vienna, a Master's degree in law (LL.M.) from McGill University in Montreal and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, the world's leading business school, where he received the Dean's List Award.
Based on over fifteen years of experience in advising professional service firms (PSF's) - law firms, investment banks, accountants, private bankers, tax advisors, management consultants, designers, engineering firms and others - and the latest scientific findings, Dr. Hirt advises these unique and creative companies on a wide range of topics that are critical to the success of large and small professional service firms, such as the leadership of PSF's, client acquisition and client development, employee acquisition and development, management, partner topics and special topics, such as the "one-firm firm", fostering of internal cooperation, industry and topic practice groups, knowledge management and issues of multi-location firms.

Dr. Hirt lives with his family near Vienna.
